Rainy Day Options

It happens; it rains. Or a fog thick so thick your eyelashes drip descends on the waters. If you don't want to go out in it, what to do? Here are some choices.

1. Spend your time aboard the boat in the harbor--a fun, relaxing option. Stay warm and dry in Polaris Jack's cabin, play cards, drink coffee, tell stories. Read and nap. A unique experience.

2. Drive the Boldcoast.  See Jonesport and Beals Island, maybe get as far as Lubec or Eastport for lunch or a beer at one of the breweries.

3. Bar Harbor is 1.5 hours away. Me, I'd rather read a book aboard Polaris Jack!
